Shirley Blumberg


Shirley Blumberg, as a founding partner of KPMB Architects, has directed a number of cultural projects which skillfully engage heritage context, most notably Canada’s National Ballet School and The Gardiner Museum Renewal. She has designed a range of academic projects including the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and an academic/residential hub for the University of British Columbia. Blumberg has served on various design review panels in Toronto, and the Presidential Advisory Panel for OCADU.

Todd Bracher


Designer and strategist Todd Bracher spent a decade in Milan, Paris, London and Copenhagen, before returning to his home city of New York. Todd has worked as Creative Director for Georg Jensen and Senior Designer at Tom Dixon and continues to collaborate with such world-renowned brands as Cappellini, Humanscale and 3M.

Giulio Cappellini is a legend in Italian furniture manufacturing. Not only has he built a reputation for championing avant-garde contemporary design, but also for discovering talents such as Marcel Wanders and Jasper Morrison. Classics from the Cappellini collection have become museum pieces, setting the standard for modern design.

Todd Saunder


Based in Bergen, Norway, award-winning Canadian architect Todd Saunders has built work in Norway, Finland and Canada. He combines dynamic building and material exploration with traditional craft techniques – notably for Fogo Island Arts, an art colony off the coast of Newfoundland for which he has received countless accolades.
